Overview: Deployment Wizard - Step 3: Server Identification

You can provide server identification two ways:
  • Supply a full-qualified and resolved DNS host name or IP address.
  • Use the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server to autoconfigure IP addresses, Subnet Mask, Gateway IP, and DNS Server IP addresses for servers.

Tasks

Use these steps to identify one or more servers:
  1. Manually, enter the Host Name, NIC for Management Tasks, and Networking information addresses and DNS server names.
  2. Select Obtain using DHCP check box and manually enter host names and NICs.
  3. Select Appply settings to all selected servers check box to populate the DCHP-obtained static network addresses for all servers.
  4. Click Next.
