The General Settings help you:

• Define the OpenManage Server Administrator (OMSA) URL
• Add the URL link to the Dell Hosts tab in vCenter

You can use the OMSA software to:

• Manage vCenter elements - detailed Sensor/Component level health information at the individual/rollup level.
• Clear command Logs and System Event Logs (SELs).
• Obtain NIC statistics.
• Ensure Dell Management Plug-in for VMware vCenter captures events from a selected host.

Define the OMSA URL address to invoke the software:

1. Enter the URL, complete with HTTPS designation.

For example: HTTPS://[IP address]:1311

The OMSA link displays on the Dell Hosts tab in vCenter.
