Overview: Connection Profiles - Add New Profile
Connection Profiles associate access/deployment credentials with a set of host servers to contain:
- Name and unique description (helps with management)
- Displaying a list of hosts associated with connection profiles
- iDRAC credentials
- OMSAAgent credentials
Tasks
To add a new connection profile:
- Click Create New. The New Connection Profile pop-up displays.
- Enter the Profile Name and an optional Description. Provide distinctive information to help you manage host security.
Click Next.
If you want stop adding a new profile at anytime, click Cancel. To return to a previous New Connection Profile section, click Back. - When the Associated Hosts section displays, select the hosts you want to use these connection credentials. Click Next.
- View the information about credentials and connection protocols. Click Next.
- Enter the out-of-band iDRAC Credentials: User name, Password, and Verify Password. Passwords must match. Click Next.
- Enter the in-band OMSAAgent Credentials: User name, Password, and Verify Password. Passwords must match.
- Click Save to add the profile.
