The Deployment Templates area helps you:

• Create a deployment template using an existing hardware and hypervisor profile
• Edit or display the hardware or hypervisor profile settings
• View a list of deployment templates
• Duplicate an existing model deployment template to customize hardware/hypervisor elements
• Delete a deployment template
• Rename a deployment template

To create new deployment template:

1. Click Create New.
2. When the Create New pop-up window displays, enter a name for the template.
3. Click Save.
4. Use the Edit feature to complete the template.
   To view or edit an existing deployment template:
1. Select a profile with the mouse.
2. Click Edit.
   The right pane displays these controls to designate a Hardware profile and a Hypervisor Profile.
• Profile drop-down list selector - choose a profile.
• View - display the hardware/hypervisor profile settings for this profile.
• Create New - Hardware Profile or Hypervisor Profile.
3. Click Save to apply profile selections or Cancel to discard.

To duplicate a deployment template:

1. Select a profile with the mouse.
2. Click Duplicate.
3. Type the template's new name. If the name exists, Apply is inoperative.
4. Click Apply to retain the new name.

To delete a deployment template:

1. Select a profile with the mouse.
2. Click Delete.
3. When the cautionary message displays, click Delete to remove the profile or click Cancel to retain it.

To rename a deployment template:

1. Select a profile with the mouse.
2. Click Rename to display the Rename Template pop-up.
3. Type the template's new name. If the name exists, Apply is inoperative.
4. Click Apply to retain the new name.

To display all updated deployment templates:

1. Click Refresh.
