Overview: Settings - Warranty Schedule

This setting helps you control when warranty information is retrieved from Dell online by:
  • Enabling or disabling scheduling the warranty retrieval
  • Setting a specific day(s) and time to retrieve warranty updates
  • Optionally using the defined proxy server (and its credentials) settings
Click Test Connectivity to ensure the Dell warranty retrieval settings work.

Tasks

To change the warranty retrieval schedule:
  1. Click Edit.
  2. The retrieval job can run:
    • On selected days at a set time
    • At periodic intervals
    • Never, click Do not run Warranty.
  3. Select Use Proxy to have the warranty retrieval job use defined proxy server and credentials.
  4. Click Apply to change warranty update schedule.
