The Configuration Wizard steps you through the Dell Management Plug-in (DMpluginvCenter) features necessary to prepare your IT environment to deploy servers in the VMware vCenter.

Run the inital (DMpluginvCenter) configuration wizard:

1. Click Configuration Wizard to step you through configuring these settings:
• Assign each Dell host one or more connection profiles so the (DMpluginvCenter) can communicate with it.
• Configure Dell host default events and alarm settings.
• Configure any required HTTP proxy settings used to access Dell online.
• Schedule an inventory job to gather managed Dell Host server information.
• Schedule time for job to retrieve warranty and other information.
• Configure temporary Lifecycle Controller/DRAC deployment credentials for jobs operating on bare-metal servers (not registered with vCenter).
• Define the firmware repository (and any necessary credentials) used for server firmware updates.
• Define the OpenManage Server Administrator (OMSA) URL setting.
